As co-director of Changing Lives Youth Theater Ensemble, I work with a director from the SAFE Alliance to oversee the production of an original play written, designed, produced, and performed on tour by an ensemble of teen activists and artists. Responsibilities include planning and facilitating rehearsals, directing staging and performance, & coordinating completion of script & design elements.

I teach for the Actor's School, a continuing education program at Austin Community College. I developed the curricula for my 5 classes: Acting Fundamentals, Commercial Audition, Tools of the Trade, Teen Acting for Film & Stage, & Self-Taping Your Audition. I also coach private teen/adult clients on audition technique, career planning, monologues, and scene study.

I teach periodically as a lecturer in the Department of Theatre and Dance. I have taught Intermediate Acting and Contemporary Theatre Workshop.

I co-teach seven-week creative writing workshops to third graders as part of the Paramount's Story Wranglers program. I have been part of a rotating cast that performs shows devised from students’ work for school assemblies.

I designed & led four custom six-week programs for learners between 5-12, culminating in scene showcases, devised plays, and festivals of student-made short films.

I toured high schools with Where’s Your Line?, an interactive educational theater program that seeks to prevent dating violence by engaging students in discussions about relationships.

I taught reading and social studies at Wayside: Altamira Academy. From 2018-2019, I improved our STAAR passing rate by 17 percentage points. I served as team lead for the 2019-2020 school year.

I taught in a variety of classrooms from Kindergarten to 5th grade. In a long-term placement from April to May, I planned 4th grade math & science lessons and prepared students for STAAR testing at Pleasant Hill Elementary.

I was a remote administrator for STAAR English I and II grading. I ensured correct use of the rubric, monitored other employees, and made decisions about responses that were difficult to score.

I prepared students for all subjects, including the Writing and Language Test. I taught test-taking strategies, math and reading skills, and grammar rules.

I worked in the Freeman Social Psychology Lab to assist with experiment design for a lab focused on facial perception and its implications for racial and gender bias. I scheduled participants, prepared testing materials, and assisted with day-to-day operations.

I worked for the Department of French & Italian, leading 45-minute sessions of Italian grammar drills using the Rassias immersion method.

I supported the editorial team with research, transcription, fact-checking, copyediting, and proofreading.
