I was responsible for the investigation of large scale fraud and other serious economic crimes. I worked closely with forensic auditors and detectives. Large fraud investigations are complex puzzles: it takes patience and perseverance to find the pattern. At this stage I started further studies. My initial plan was to understand the forensic accounting side better. But I changed my studies to focus on technology when I realised that was my real area of interest. At this stage I started to get involved in the investigation and prosecution of large fraud cases. I was one of two advocates responsible for managing and leading a "fraud squad" of detectives to tackle thousands of outstanding fraud cases. This was when I started developing tech skills, project management skills and training skills.
