BaCT provides a full range of services including Project Management, Database Development, Data Management and Statistical support for IITs Sponsored by both Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and oncology focused external collaborative research groups. Department headcount of 32 staff, managing a portfolio of 40-50 IITs across Ph I – Ph III with both national and international reach. Our portfolio encompasses all areas of oncology including medical oncology, radiology, theranostics & nuclear medicine, haematology and surgical oncology. Responsible for the strategic, financial and operational leadership of the clinical development team as well as responsible for managing the diverse aspects of Peter Mac and Collaborative Group Sponsored Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials.

SCAR is a community based charity run by vet professionals, animal-loving volunteers and foster carers.Operating since 2008, SCAR rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats due to be euthanised at pounds and shelters across Victoria and offer them a Second Chance at finding their Forever homes.SCAR has a foster care network with over 100 local homes caring for animals not ready for adoption, has hundreds of volunteers assisting at our Shelter in Cragieburn and at fundraising events and over 45,000 Facebook supporters.As a volunteer I support SCAR by attending the shelter and supporting the care of the animals through walking the dogs, providing enrichment for the animals (dogs and cats) through play and ensuring their enclosures are clean and tidy. I also attend events with SCAR across Melbourne to support fund raising efforts as the entire business is supported through the generosity of donations.

Ensuring every child’s potential is realised through full participation in educationArdoch is a charity providing education support for children and young people experiencing disadvantage.Ardoch has provided education support to children and young people in disadvantaged communities for over 28 years. The work of Ardoch began with founder Kathy Hilton’s desire to see a 17-year-old girl experiencing homelessness stay at school and complete her education. Since then, Ardoch has helped thousands of children and young people to stay at school, receive a helping hand with their education and have access to more choices and opportunities in life. Ardoch continues to work in schools and early childhood services across Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia to address barriers to education, develop the basic foundations of learning and broaden horizons for children and young people.

Management of all operations of the business including procurement, logistics for the supply of pharmaceuticals to customers and managing all customer and supplier relationships. Management of revenue and expenditure budgets to ensure on-going profitability. Maintaining and strengthening internal processes, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and attention to detail. Management of staff members and their responsibilities within the business in addition to overseeing their training and development.

Accountable for all sponsor clinical operations deliverables of large cardiovascular, haemophilia and rare disease portfolio across the APAC region. This included overseeing all vendor activities across both CROs and other service providers. Management of both permanent and contract staff in Australia, Thailand, Japan.

Ensure sponsor oversight of the conduct, monitoring and management of Clinical Studies at Clinical Study Sites, and line management of Clinical Oversight Managers.
