I led the effort to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at The Commons, an entrepreneurship hub serving Downtown Denver and founded to drive innovation and entrepreneurship as a key economic development strategy. I oversaw the creation and execution of the programming strategy for The Commons and was tasked with engaging diverse stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Responsibilities included general management of programs, budget, team and community.

I worked to scale the organization and its volunteer teams by focusing on day-to-day operations and strategic development. Reported to co-founders and supported volunteers teams in more than 20 cities in 8 countries. Managed inbound requests for new locations. Vetted and onboarded teams. Worked on funding the organization and served as ad-hoc brand manager. Supported fundraising efforts. We laid plans to grow the organization to 100 locations worldwide.

Expanded opportunities and awareness for entrepreneurship education across the CU-Boulder campus. I managed new programs, led events and facilitated student, community and board engagement. Vantage Point offers historical consulting services designed to uncover an organization's useable past and repurpose it for today’s leaders. I supported this large scope of work by coordinating and contributing to research efforts, maintaining records and archives and managing office duties. As part of our pro bono work, I coordinated the effort to re-launch the Black Hills Community Foundation.
