Jacquie Robison is the founder of multinational nonprofit, WAWOS (www.wawos.org), a 501(c)3 org in the USA and its sister organization WAWOS Canada, a registered not-for-profit, based in Toronto. WAWOS (We're All Working On Something) is committed to supporting and celebrating children and teens with cerebral palsy and related neuromuscular delays. It's mission is to disrupt the narrative around disability, advocate access to adventure for kids of all abilities, and shout inclusion. Jacquie believes that all children should be seen as the unique, exceptional beings they are. As the mother of a girl with mild CP, Jacquie created WAWOS WEAR; dynamic and creatively-designed walkercapes that attach easily to a walker/assistive device to showcase a child's interest and personality. It motivated her daughter to practice her stepping and encouraged others to see her daughter beyond her visible difference. While her daughter no longer uses a walker, Jacquie's passion to have every child be seen as the amazing person they are fuels her drive to share the WAWOS vision of inclusion. WAWOS partners with community groups and world-class organizations to host VIP events for kids with physical disabilities and their families. When our kids are invited to show up to the world, they know they are seen and celebrated beyond a diagnosis or device. Prior to WAWOS, Jacquie has over 20 years of marketing and communications experience across multiple media and industries. She launched her career in sports marketing and brought that strategic insight to the media side with a move to the SF Bay Area at CBS-affiliate KPIX-TV. From there, Jacquie jumped into the new media world with Ask.com (previously Ask Jeeves) where she led Consumer and Brand Marketing for the search engine. After a stint at blogging software start-up Six Apart, Jacquie joined MobiTV in a leadership role for Consumer Marketing and PR.Specialties: Branding and identity, corporate communications strategy & messaging, client services/agency relations, integrated marketing strategy & planning, program management and execution, web and online programs (SEM,SEO, web redesign), social networking and customer acquisition/retention programs
