Eighteen-year-old me completed a Business Traineeship through Small Business Centre, an historic division of Small Business Development Corporation, and my involvement at the office ignited a passion for Small Business.I went on to have a family and during the early stages came to realise I couldn't possibly trade the time I spent with my boys working a 9-5, so I moved my focus to upskilling. The closest TAFE was offering a course in Accounting and Bookkeeping, so once both my boys were in full time school, I dedicated myself to full time study. I never intended to trade as a bookkeeper, this just offered a firm knowledge of Business Finance and Compliance. Now I am addicted to having fancy certificates on my wall and consistently working through a number of qualifications and certifications, with a main focus on my Business Diploma.The end goal is to competent as a Small Business Advisor. I am passionate about helping other small businesses buy back time freedom so they can thrive in business as well as in their personal lives.
