Central Veterinary Services and Stowe Veterinary Group are two very different businesses, both with their roots firmly based within the veterinary sector. I have been lucky enough to have been involved with Central Veterinary Services from inception and Stowe Veterinary Group for over 17 years, working in a number of roles for both.Stowe Veterinary Group (SVG) is a truly independent group of practices in the heart of Suffolk. Established in 1950 as a one-room practice in Stowmarket, SVG has grown from strength to strength over the years - expanding the Stowmarket branch and opening two larger veterinary purpose built centres in Bury St. Edmunds and Ipswich. The group also includes two smaller practices in Elmswell and Needham Market, as well as Deben Valley Equine in Framsden.SVG keeps the local community at its heart, and our team members are given clinical freedom to allow them to preserve our core values and priorities for patient care. Central Veterinary Services’ primary role is to support practices with the many management tasks arising from running and developing a business. Including accounting, book keeping, purchasing, creating or updating the practice website.My key role within the companies is ensuring the recruitment and development of professional, dedicated and well trained personnel, suited to the roles and responsibilities required of them. I am passionate about achieving excellence within the veterinary sector through the recruitment and development of key personnel. Specialties include: Recruitment, HR, book keeping, payroll, website development & marketing
