Twin-Star International, a manufacturing company of Electric Fireplaces, Heaters and Bath Vanities which are sold to big box companies and many internet companies.I have held a variety of positions and been promoted several times in 7 years. · Order processor· Order Processing Supervisor · EDI Coordinator· EDI Specialist.In the position as EDI Specialist my main objective is to develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all EDI-related developments for the organization. Other Responsibilities include but not limited to:-Analyzing and designing specifications used for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces, and mappings. -Coordinate all EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades.-Serve as the primary liaison between the business and any data-trading partners-Work with all trading customers to determine the type of data they would like to trade, analyzing the data exchanged, develop guidelines and specifications for data exchange.-Manage and record any errors, and correcting any failures. -Working with at all level team mates in the organization to support accurate, proper data exchanges within the organization. -Assisting with any testing to observe and interpret messages received and offer updates to their supervisor, typically a departmental lead or supervisor. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist Daily routine: -Provide technical expertise and support for our EDI communications.-Test, implement and maintain our EDI transactions.-Analyze, design and develop specifications for enhancements and extensions to electronic data interchange application interfaces and maps.
