With over a decade of experience in education, I am the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Kids in Tech, a nonprofit organization that provides after-school and summer programs for underrepresented youth to learn coding, design, and entrepreneurship skills. I lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of our engaging and rigorous curriculum, which aligns with the needs and interests of our students and stakeholders. I also train and develop our instructors, who are mostly volunteers from the tech industry, and equip them with the best practices and tools to deliver high-quality instruction and mentorship. My core competencies are corporate leadership, curriculum assessment, and curriculum innovation. I have a passion for creating opportunities for students to explore STEM fields and careers, and to develop their confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. I foster a culture of diversity and inclusion at Kids in Tech, and empower our students to become the next generation of tech innovators and leaders.
