2022-Present: I am currently a Product Training Specialist for ConstructConnect, a company that provides software solutions to the preconstruction industry. In this role, I teach and support our clients through their use of the software to ensure ease, efficiency, and accuracy through all of their projects. 2017-2022: I have taught 7th grade in Magnolia ISD for 5 years. Four out of 5 of the years I was the team facilitator for the 7th grade math team. This includes analyzing data, facilitating conversations about how to fix short comings, coaching new teachers through their first 1-2 years, presenting information given by principals and academic coordinators, presenting strategies and information that I was trained on, enforcing team norms and school rules, creating curriculum and strategies that provide the most student growth and content retention as possible, etc.2015-2017: I taught 8th grade math at McAdams Junior High in Dickinson ISD for 2 years. This includes analyzing data from assessments (formative and summative) given and creating a plan (with my team) to intervene where needed, performing tasks given by team lead, creating curriculum that best serves the students, differentiating lessons based on each individual student's needs for each specific TEK, and building lasting relationships with each student.
