IICA is a non profit educational organization that offer positions of trainee-teachers for any graduate or undergraduate recent students from an English speaking country a 12 months internship in Brazil, teaching English, learning Portuguese and cultural background on Brazil. Trainees have a mid-scholarship, seminars, financial aid for domestic trips, work in one of the 295 IICA's partner-schools throughout Brazil. A free homestay with a screened Brazilian family is arranged by the Program. At end, if 70 credits have been scored a TFL/ESL recognized certificate is awarded, giving participant the status of TFL/ESL Teacher of English to Foreigners.
