-Maintain a caseload of PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and Residential clients seeking substance abuse treatment. Most clients have dual diagnoses including trauma related disorders and personality disorders.-Conduct weekly 1:1 sessions with client caseload as well as some couple and family sessions.-Facilitate numerous weekly groups including Process Group and Chemical Dependency Education Group. CDED group topics include: Boundaries, Cross Addiction, Dysfunctional Family Roles, Cognitive Distortions, Guilt/Shame, Post Acute Withdrawals and Inner Child Healing.-Attend collaborative meetings with program coordinators, supervisors, directors and other clinicians to discuss client “hot spots” and discuss more in depth client progress.-Maintain and submit utilization review notes to insurances providing rationale for continued coverage for in-patient treatment.-Maintain client documentation agenda that includes master treatment plan, Biopsychosocial assessment, measurement based tools, weekly family contact notes, preliminary discharge plan, and discharge summary.

-Provide cognitive and academic assessments to diverse age groups of students creating specific academic catch up plans for each student-Score assessments including the KBIT-2, Beery VMI, Visual Perception, and Motor Coordination, along with academic scoring-Track each student’s progress with consistency to provide input for meetings with parents to have them participate in at home tasks to further the progress

-Maintained client caseload for 1:1 therapy sessions for patients with diagnoses including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder (check on bipolar diagnosis)-Participated in treatment team meetings to stay current about the level of competency each patient has achieved since being hospitalized-Facilitated a DBT group to teach skills including: mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and crisis survival skills-Maintained weekly progress notes documenting patient sessions, status and goals-Attended weekly individual supervision to discuss case conceptualizations and strengthen my clinical skills

-Facilitated multiple groups that include members with diverse needs. Groups include: Parenting & Processing groups for inmates at Travis County Correctional Complex, Chronic Illness & Pain, Domestic Violence for Women, and General COPE-Provided counseling to individuals of various ages and needs for which they are seeking counseling.-Attended group and individual supervision sessions to receive valuable feedback to strengthen my counseling skills.-Completed intakes and case notes for all clients that I provide counseling to.

-2019/2020 Creative Learning Ambassador for Langford Elementary.-My classroom population was approximately 50% special needs. This required different teaching approaches, simultaneously delivered, toward the various capabilities of my students.-71% of my students met the half-growth objective on SLO (Student Learning Objectives) test scores. The remaining came within (average) 90% of achieving half goal.-Leveraged SEL (Social Emotional Learning) in my classroom and mentored other teachers in this practice. -Mentored Texas State University interns who observed my classroom during Fall and Spring semesters.
