About Jacinthe Garant

I obtained a master's degree in translation from English to French at Université Laval in 2014. I have since used my skills as a freelance translator for several companies. I have translated professional and technical texts of a wide variety: advertising, marketing, electronics and human resource projects, user manuals, and software. I have also used my English skills as an Assistant Language Teacher for the JET Programme from 2010 to 2015; I taught ESL students aged 3-15 in the small fishing town of Mihama, in Wakayama, Japan. After 5 years in Japan, I relocated to Vancouver, Canada.
