Hello, my name is Jada Lang and I am currently a junior at the University of Kentucky pursuing a bachelor's degree in General Business.In obtaining my degree, I aspire to gain both knowledge and experience in various departments pertaining to business in industries I am most passionate about including, but not limited to, equine, fitness/wellness, journalism, etc.*EMPLOYMENT HISTORY*- Bluegrass Equine Surgical Center (Jan. 2023 - May 2023) / Breeding Season Vet TechI worked alongside one of the reproductive veterinarians at different farms to assist in a multitude of services such as ultrasounds, x-rays, drawing blood for analysis, etc. Responsibilities included assistance in procedures, organization, billing and paperwork, sanitization, drawing medications, equipment management, sample delivery/storage, and any other assistance the vet may need.- Mill Ridge Farm (June 2022-Dec. 2022) / Seasonal Yearling GroomMy duties within this job involved feeding, grooming, turning out, administering medicine, and other basic routine care, but also grew more in depth with conditioning them for sales during the months of August, September, October, and November (mares/weanlings).
