I currently attend Michigan State University, which has one Michigan's top Criminal Justice programs! I am majoring in Criminal Justice, where I get to expand my knowledge about our justice system and how different parts to the puzzle of what we call justice comes together. The program I am enrolled in allows me to participate in Criminal Justice internships, where I get experience in fields I am interested in each semester. I am Reid & Reid's current intern, where I work closely with Tim Reid, who practices Criminal Law, Business Law, Trial Law, and many other areas. My days generally consists of sitting in on cases in 54 A District Court and Ingham County's Friend of Court (Circuit Court). During my time at Reid & Reid, I have learned a lot about the office duties that comes along with being a lawyer and how to handle clients, file paperwork, stay organized in a fast paced setting, etc.. I really enjoyed my time at Reid & Reid and I am sad to see it come to an end with my semester! Looking forward to many more opportunities like this!
