Develop and oversee the implementation of the Mafanikio program’s vision, mission, and goals in alignment with the objectives of the Office of African American Student Achievement.Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, counselors, and community partners to identify the needs and interests of African American students and design programming accordingly.Plan, coordinate, and facilitate after school activities, workshops, and events focused on academic enrichment, cultural awareness, leadership development, and college and career readiness.Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, including tutors, mentors, guest speakers, and volunteers, to ensure the effective delivery of services and support to students.Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and community members to foster engagement and participation in the Mafanikio program.Monitor student attendance, participation, and progress in program activities, and provide ongoing feedback and support to promote student success.Collaborate with school and district staff to collect and analyze data on student outcomes and program effectiveness, and use findings to inform program improvements and decision-making.Manage program budgets, resources, and materials effectively to maximize impact and ensure fiscal responsibility.Stay informed about best practices, trends, and research related to afterschool programming, African American student achievement, and equity in education, and integrate relevant insights into program planning and implementation.Advocate for the needs and interests of African American students within the school district and broader community, and work towards eliminating barriers to their success.

Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students who require additional help with reading and writing.Develop and implement customized lesson plans and activities to target specific areas of need, such as phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing mechanics.Assess students’ current abilities and progress regularly to track growth and adjust instructional strategies as needed.Collaborate with classroom teachers to align support services with classroom curriculum and goals.Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share student progress, strategies for support at home, and recommendations for further intervention if necessary.Utilize a variety of instructional materials and resources, including technology-based tools, to engage students and enhance learning experiences.Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in literacy instruction and intervention strategies.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and interventions provided.Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop confidence and independence in their reading and writing skills.Collaborate with other school staff members, such as special education teachers, counselors, and administrators, to ensure a holistic approach to student support and success.

Provide Rent and Utility funding to those affected by Covid.Possess over 10 cases/clients daily.Verify each client's Demographic, Covid impact and Income in each case.Track each case using Excel spreadsheet with Email attempts, Dates of emails, Documents received, Income monthly amount, Household size, Landlord Verifications & W9 any information involved in case.Approve or Deny cases daily depending on circumstances.Maintain customer contact via email for any documents needed.Maintain contact with each client's Landlord for rent amounts, late fees, and utilities for each month.Once approved, provide SAP checks to be sent to the Landlord.

Technical Customer support.Handling day to day transactions and escalations.Stay up to date on product knowledge and provide customers with all possible deals.Troubleshoot and remedy device problems.Providing stellar customer service to ensure customer needs are met.
