I am a senior at Southern Wesleyan University and I will be graduating in December of 2024. I will be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, with a minor in biology. I have thoroughly enjoyed most of my educational experience, and it has brought me many opportunities as well. For the past two years, I have been the Southern Wesleyan University chemistry tutor for the Student Success Center. Through this, I have additionally been able to provide private tutoring outside of SWU, being able to offer help in chemistry to other college students and many high school students. I am currently tutoring four high school students a week in general chemistry on top of working a substantial part-time job. Being able to tutor students in many different settings has allowed me to find a passion for teaching chemistry. After graduation, I plan to enroll in the SC PACE program to get alternatively certified to teach high school chemistry! From there, my goal is to pour into the lives of students in and out of the classroom.
