I am Jada Gorgor: a multifaceted honors scholar at the illustrious Spelman College with aspirations of becoming an OB/GYN. I have passions in the fine arts and STEM which is displayed throughout my background. As a high school student, I was faced with numerous educational inequities and worked to make a change. To combat these societal injustices, I hosted meetings to spread awareness about STEM and theatre programs for underrepresented students in my community. I have extensive work in STEAM education through my psychological research conducted with Pioneer Academics Research program, and my experience competing and performing in distinguished theatre programs and competitions. As a future medical professional, I remain dedicated to my studies by maintaining a 3.8 GPA and continuously engaging with the Spelman College Health Careers Program.
