International Trade Policy Advisor, Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS)• Coordinated and led a team from across multiple Departments and countries to resolve a barrier that prevented £50bn worth of cosmetic products manufactured in China being sold on the UK market.• Assessed and put forward options for negotiation as part of negotiations for a potential Free Trade Agreement with India.

Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS)• Ran the public consultation engagement and stakeholder workshops for the development of new Furniture and Furnishings Fire safety legislation.• Conducted a legislative review of the General Product Safety Regulation 2005 and Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.• Led a team that oversaw and drafted all briefing and speech writing for Ministerial engagements. This also included responses to all official letters to government Ministers and letters to government officials from MPs and interested members of the public.
