Re-Emerging Scholars is a program that supports formerly-incarcerated and system-impacted students in their transition to higher education. As a clerk, I work directly with students to help them through enrollment needs and connecting them to on and off-campus resources.

Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Community Night Market is an annual event hosted by the UC Davis Cross Cultural Center. It promotes community organizing for Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders as well as provides support for students who identify as such. My duties included: - Organized a Night Market event promoting Asian American and Pacific Islander Community awareness with anattendance of approximately 150 and involvement from 20 businesses, organizations, and performers.- Managed communications and logistics between 15 vendors, campus departments, and student organizations.- Led a team of ten students through eight months of preparation.- Wrote an itemized budget proposal for $10,500 and managed expenditures.

The ASUCD Ethnic and Cultural Affairs Commission is a commission dedicated to represent and advocate for marginalized communities on campus. As a commissioner, here is a list of my following duties: -Addressed hate incidents on campus by bridging the gap between administration and students. Created workshopsabout available resources on campus and met with campus administrators to address student needs.-Facilitated workshops on race, privilege, and the impact of oppression on people of color.-Supported communities of color during times of stress by authoring student senate resolutions against hate crimes and incidents as well as providing healing spaces for student groups that were affected.

It's main goals include providing healing spaces, inclusivity, more awareness to resources on campus, expanding resources, and destigmatizing the issue. Partnerships were created throughout campus such as student affairs and the student health and wellness center in order to bridge the gap between administrators and students to improve resources and awareness for this issue. - Coordinated volunteers to serve for the Mental Health Awareness month. - Served as a liaison between the volunteers and the board members. - Contacted organizations within and outside of UC Davis to host workshops and other relevant programming. - Attended meetings with board members, directors, and administration.
