I work alongside the physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assist in providing neurological rehabilitation to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions or trauma injuries. I work with the physiotherapists during sessions with the patients, I also provide one-to-one appointments with those patients to do extended rehabilitation as well as run rehabilitation groups for the patients. The groups focus on issues a large portions of the patients require more time to work on as well as providing them with a social opportunity and support their mental health.

My role is with the reserve team at Nottingham Forest FC Women’s, with some associated and cover work with the first team. My roles and responsibilities are to provide pitch side first aid for league and friendly fixtures, injury assessment, management and treatment. Also working alongside the sports scientist for prehabilitation work for the players to reduce injury risk and fitness maintenance.

Pitch side first aid during competitive and friendly fixtures in the LFE, as well as proving recovery and rehabilitation during player injuries. I was also apart of many of the community trusts charity football tournaments proving inside first aid for the attending players.

At Nottingham Forest Regional Talent Club I am the under 12s, under 14s and under 16s sports therapist. Working with the coach’s, sports scientist and players to aid their journey in football and onto an international playing stage.
