Currently completing a PhD looking at the 3D organisation of the genome, focused on the chromatin structure of gene clusters in Arabidopsis Thaliana. We are also looking at chromatin marks and the impact of mutations of those across these biosynthetic gene clusters, using Chromatin Immunoprecipitation. Alongside using CRISPR/Cas9 technology and qPCR to analyse the importance of gene order and expression of neighbouring genes.
