The role and responsibilities of the Participation Director on the Board of Netball NI is as follows: • To be a company Director of Netball NI and provide and provide leadership and expertise in participation• To ensure the organisation fulfils its charitable objectives as outlined in its Articles of Association.• To contribute to the strategic development of the organisation, including contributing to the delivery of the organisation’s strategy, Strongest Together• To ensure that the organisation has adequate financial resources and that its finances are effectively managed.• To ensure that the organisation complies with its legislative requirements, including compliance with employment and equal opportunities legislation, and charity and company law.• To contribute to the development of policies and procedures that ensure the organisation meets optimum levels of good practice in governance.• To ensure that risks to the organization are maintained at an acceptable level.• To represent the organisation at meetings and events relevant to the business of the organisation.• To advise on the development, implementation, and evaluation of Netball NI’s approach to participation which will maximise the engagement opportunities & sustainability of domestic netball for Netball NI.• To contribute to the identification and sourcing of new opportunities both demographically and geographically to build profile of Netball.• To participate in and contribute to sub committees and working groups concerned withoverseeing and progressing key functions of the organisation’s business.

Fermanagh

I am responsible for developing and delivering the Volunteer & Community Plan for the Fermanagh Portfolio ensuring it links to key strategic priorities and the Property Business Plan. I am a key member of the Property Leadership Team and work across all departments to support their growth through volunteering or partnership working. I am responsible for compliance in various areas including fire risk assessments, covid risk assessments, lone working, safeguarding & DBS checks and workplace inspections. I work with local schools and community groups to engage with our properties in new and innovative ways supporting our cause and ensuring mutual benefit. I coach and train volunteer managers and have created the volunteer management structure to ensure the volunteer journey is supported as well as ensuring a positive and enjoyable culture. I am the Project workstream lead for volunteering and community in projects and work with multiple stakeholders and audience groups. I am the People and Welfare Lead in Emergency Plans for Castle Coole, Florence Court & Crom.
