About Jade Blair

I have developed a strong skill set in managing engaging experiences and leading a team. Through my experience within the heritage sector I have built communication and interpersonal skills, which I believe are essential to fostering positive relationships with visitors, staff, volunteers and stakeholders across Northern Ireland. I currently work in National Museums NI, based in the Ulster Museum as the Visitor Services Manager. Working for National Museums NI has given me an exciting opportunity to spread knowledge about the history and culture of Northern Ireland and help to ensure members of our community can influence and connect with the National Collections and Museums.I’m a huge advocate for Volunteering and enjoy strategic planning and creation of new opportunities. I have previous experience in Barnardo’s which helped introduced me to Volunteering as a sector as well as my most recent experience in the National Trust. In the National Trust, I developed my skills in Community Engagement and supporting projects. I am currently the Director of Participation at Netball NI on the Board of Directors.
