- Asked to step in to manage an existing business department with aims to improve retention and income (previously around 80-85%)- Steadily improved retention and income from day one to a level 10% higher than previously- Grew income by 20%- Set new processes, systems and controls in place- Started to develop risk management offering for the company alongside dealing with H&S- Instilled great team ethic within the group- Became one of three underwriters when a new delegated authority was won- Developing key customer accounts and relationships and further products and services- Handed the department back to the new manager in a much healthier position to resume my initial remit
