As a volunteer with a non-medical hospice organization, I have the great privilege of walking alongside people grieving the death of a loved one and being part of a compassionate community dedicated to ensuring that no one dies or grieves alone. To further my ability to be of service in this field that I am so passionate about, I am thrilled to be pursuing a Master of Science degree in Thanatology at Marian University.As the communications director of a user experience design consulting firm, I work closely with a team of talented strategists, designers, and researchers to solve challenges for our clients and their users. My work includes communications strategy and tactical planning, project management, account management, operational support, and proposal development.
