I spent my adolescence enchanted by the many realms the pages of my books could take me to. I spent my early adulthood studying literary theory and criticism and the structures of storytelling through the short story, the poem and the novel. I want to spend the rest of my life producing and creating this art that I have for so long been infatuated with. I recently graduated from Salve Regina with a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Creative Writing. In my academic years I have been commended for inspiring and developing unique and thought-provoking ideas and producing intriguing and well-organized writing in varying genres and content areas. My skills in grammar, syntax and diction have been honed to effectively edit and proof-read. My experience in writing workshops garnered my ability both to critique and to receive criticism well. I have been well-trained to cultivate rigorous research and creative analysis as well as market to desired audiences. My previous employers have praised me for working well in fast-paced environments and meeting strict deadlines under great deals of pressure, as well as my ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively both with my co-workers and with the general public.
