I am a 17-year-old Merici College student with a passion for baking and flying. In 2014 (aged 13) I decided to combine the two and established The Sugar Bite as a means to fund my flying lessons. I am now well into my flying and on my 15th birthday achieved the first of my dreams by becoming Australia's youngest pilot, and on my 16th birthday became Australia’s youngest recreational pilot, and very soon after my 17th birthday obtained my private pilot licence, all completely self-funded. To do so I have baked and sold over 25,000 cupcakes through coffee shops, catering orders and markets. My corporate clients include Samsung and The Australian National University. In addition to running a successful business and flying training, I am also an extremely dedicated student and public motivational speaker, inspiring others, especially young women, to chase their dreams. I plan to continue chasing my flying dreams in order to achieve my extensive list of goals and eventually become an international airline pilot.
