As the assistant manager of a new store for such a well known brand I have learned a lot. For 6 months I acted as covering manager in running the store. I have learned a lot more about KPIs and performance based targets. I enjoy pushing the staff forward and helping them drive sales. I am responsible for events and ensuring the rota is completed to suit the needs of the business and coaching staff. Also, being able to focus on enhancing my skills as an artist is important to me, i feel the company has encouraged me a lot with this. I am a key holder, responsable for banking. Also daily, weekly and monthly paper work including assessing staff needs and helping coach the staff to be their best versions of themself and enhance their selling techniques. My favourite part of my job has to be meeting up and collaborating with other company's and influencers to get the store recognised within the local area. Recently we worked with a charity called "Dress for success" where I spoke on stage with Cool FM radio presenter Melissa Riddell. We highlighted the courses we offer in the store and gifted the guests attending with complimentary makeup lessons. I really enjoyed reaching out to a new demographic of client and found it an effective, budget friendly way of bringing in new customers
