About Jade Harper

As a film and TV producer for Indspire 2022 & 2023 Awards, I am passionate about creating and promoting compelling and relevant content that showcases the achievements and stories of Indigenous peoples in Canada. I have been in this role for over two years, and I have also worked on set with the Little Bird Series (2023) Producer Fellow program, which is a prestigious opportunity for emerging producers.I have a diverse and extensive background in public relations, community engagement, facilitation, strategic planning, events and program development, with a focus on urban Indigenous communities and First Nations. I have applied these skills in my previous roles as a Director of Public Relations at The Link, and as the Indigenous Music Export Manager at Manitoba Film & Music, where I delivered innovative and impactful programs and events to support Indigenous artist entrepreneurs and industry across western Canada. I am also a part-time student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies from the University of Manitoba.
