Being an operations team leader I am responsible for ensuring my team have daily support in the three primary functions we are responsible for- managing and coordinating the manufacturing plans for multiple areas of the business, material management and logistics. As well as these three primary functions we are the hub of the business and drive for improvements and updating processes. I spend a lot of time with senior management and supporting the manufacturing areas to ensure they’re able to meet there plans to ensure we are meeting the revenue targets for the business. I carry our daily huddles with my team as well as carrying out monthly 1-2-1 reviewing and supporting my manager with the yearly appraisals. With my team I am very passionate on helping them grow and develop personally as well as keeping it within line of our departmental and business goals. I am responsible for setting up any training plans, personal development plans and supporting in any departmental developments that we may say to bring in. I will hold monthly reset sessions with my team whereby we will review processes and have open discussions about developments or training within the team and outside of the team will be beneficial.
