Current• Responsible for accuracy and compliance with form I-9 and E-Verify as well as working with and following up with division offices to assure accuracy and compliance.• Onboard non-bargaining (non-union) new hires in corporate office or assist other divisions in the process of high-level employee onboarding, including but not limited to scheduling drug screens per Department of Transportation (DOT) requirement for employment• Review and process all bargaining and non-bargaining new hire and rehire documentation using the HRIS system JD Edwards - Oracle• Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Process required documents and enrollments through appropriate systems to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions• Provide benefit information and answer questions to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefits plans and enrollment provisions• Process, review and submit weekly and semi-monthly 401(k) reports for non-bargaining employees• Conduct verifications of employment both written and verbal• Responsible for communication and coordination with Quanta’s Lazy Q Lineman School. Includes booking travel, obtaining employment credentials, fielding questions, and monitoring students to keep management up to date on performance and position when graduated• Source resumes in a proprietary database as well as external resources to select the best qualified candidates and assist with screening prospective qualified candidates. Respond to employment inquiries• Gather, organize, process, verify and maintain personnel related documents and employee files.• Respond to unemployment claims and coordinate unemployment hearings company wide• Perform daily administrative tasks as needed• Assisted in preparations for corporate office and all divisions for a software conversion to JD Edwards - Oracle (2020) and company-wide conversion to electronic Onboarding (2022).
