Experienced Operations, Logistics and Safety Manager and professional with extensive history working in regional distribution and military industry. Demonstrated skills in Supply chain operations, team leadership, strategic planning, international logistics and project management. Graduated from University of Central Florida.My twelve years of experience in Operations and Logistics Management have been incredibly challenging and equally rewarding. While working for Target I had the fantastic opportunity to work with, train and develop both an Outbound and Breakpack team to be safe, quality focused, and high performing in a high stakes fast paced operations environment that helped develop me into the leader I am today. Throughout my military career I provided Sustainment and Logistics support to all US Military and NATO partner nations in Europe and Korea, I worked in multiple capacities such as lead planning manager of multiple high visibility events, managed the performance of 13 warehouses in multiple countries with variable goods and as a Transportation manager and a liaison to multiple countries and companies. As a Supply Chain Management Executive Officer I received warehouse management training through the Quartermaster School Center of Excellence helping to broaden my overall knowledge in the logistics field while also providing me a unique perspective on the education process for Logistics Managers and Employees. As the Commander of the 508th Transportation Company, I was responsible for the initial education of multiple transportation and logistics professional careers pertaining to hands on equipment training integral to the trainee's effectiveness upon arrival to their place of employment. Throughout my career I have taken every opportunity to volunteer for the betterment of my local community. I have volunteered over 1300 hours with multiple non-profit organizations, historical sites, child and family services and city cleanup efforts; all developing my ability to coordinate large scale events and articulate multifaceted concepts and cater a message to the intended audience regardless of education and occupational background. I have additionally planned multiple cultural enrichment events for my Advanced Individual Training (AIT) soldiers while working as an AIT Executive Officer (XO) planning with multiple civilian organizations to provide educational and cultural experiences in order to broaden their worldview.
