Working within the Capital development team, I lead construction projects and support senior project managers on larger scale construction projects. This role involves utilising project management skills to ensure that projects run on budget and on time.

My new role looking at the loans that are available from Wrexham Council and how we can utilise enforcement on empty properties.

• Regeneration / Town Centre Project Focus • Writing grant funding applications • Working with Welsh Government Regeneration Section • Development of large scale regeneration construction project • Writing strategies and action plans During this role my main focus is supporting the regeneration of Wrexham town centre. This has included project managing a large scale regeneration construction project within the town centre (over £4mil). Developing a cross-authority strategy and action plan. Writing and presenting reports to the authority’s executive board. Leading a regional funding pot focusing on regeneration buildings across the North Wales region. Working closely with Welsh Government’s Regeneration section.

I worked on social media campaigns to promote Wrexham town centre, supporting the local economy. I mainly worked on the 'Hello World' brand by updating content on the 'wrexham says hello' app and social media pages. During my time in this position, I also studied part time for the CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing. My first role within Wrexham County Borough Council was a secretary to the two Economic Development Managers. In this role I learned a lot about prioritisation, organisation and admin skills.My day-to-day work would include diary management, audio typing, filing, word processing, processing of the time management systems for the Economic Development Managers' teams, secretarial cover for the Head of Department, typing of reports, letters, memos etc.
