I am passionate about education and inspiring young minds, with a key focus on skills of organization, time management, communication, and teamwork. I am currently undertaking a Bachelor of Science at Deakin University, with a major in Cell Biology and a minor in Mathematical Modelling. Following the completion of my Bachelor of Science at the end of this year (2023) I will commence my Master of Education (Secondary). My career prospects are to enter the workforce as a Secondary School Teacher in the fields of Science and Mathematics, however, I have a keenness for work experience in a range of different settings. This is reflected in my previous and current years of employment where I have had the opportunity to develop skills in retail, hospitality, and office administration. Throughout these years I have procured an extensive skill set with the aim of enhancing employability and personal growth. Currently, I am seeking additional job opportunities relating to scientific research, for the purpose of enhancing my scientific knowledge, and skills. Outside of work, I am an avid dancer. I have been a dancer at Careen Dance Studio for over 20 years, and a teacher since I was 15. I enjoy working with kids and the never-ending opportunity for creativity and enjoyment in this setting. I also love spending time with my family and friends!
