I took a proactive approach to accounts with Aspirations, being involved personally with my client’s businesses enabled me to identify potential pitfalls before they arose. This was done through tax planning and monitoring, all while completing the statutory basics of Year End Accounts, VAT and CIS. Working with a wide variety of clients enabled me to diversify my skills. I was able to cover specific aspects of accounts that I had not yet studied or explored such as VAT margin schemes, company share structures, amongst other specifics and was able to adapt to the changing FRS standards.Aspirations taught me the value to being disciplined and efficient as I not only had to complete the general compliance work but also maintain great relationships with my clients and be on hand whenever needed ensuring all accounts were regularly maintained and up to date.

Having worked for Dorota C Ltd from its inception, I had the pleasure of being directly involved with the growth and evolution of a small company. My responsibilities, position and duties grew along with the firm. I began at the company with tasks such as bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS and Payroll which progressed to compiling company’s financial statements, accounts organisation and reporting and social media managing and marketing. Beginning as an apprentice over half a decade ago, my role exponentially grew to involve leadership responsibilities including the supervision and training of other staff members. I worked to ensure that the standards of our client relationships, company standards and in-house legal obligations were upheld, including the upkeep of protocol including dynamic accounting standards and regulations.
