I worked on both the till and on the shop floor. On the tills I will be serving the customers and helping them with any problems that they might have. On the shop floor I will be putting stock out on the shop floor, while helping customers when they are having trouble finding a product. I have helped open the store in the morning, but have also helped clean and maintain the shop in the evening so that the shop would then be ready for the next day selling.

On a weekly basis I distribute the local free newspaper to just over 200 residential properties.

I worked in a small material shop at the bottom of Market Gates. I would help customers to find the correct size curtains and net curtains. I would also clean and keep the shop tidy, asking the customers if they would like any help, along side with serving the customers. I would look after the shop, serving customers while the the other staff member would be sorting through the delivery.

I worked in a local Café. I take customer orders and hand it to the kitchen, I make hot and cold drinks using the different types of machines, I also serve slush puppies and ice-cream from the machine and scoop. Once the food is ready I take it to the customer. I use the tills. Throughout the day I help to keep the Café clean and tidy, I sweep the floors, wash up, wipe up, put away, and clean down the tables and chairs.

I worked as Christmas temp. My duties involved serving customers on the tills, maintaining a clean and tidy till area at all times. Tidying the store and making sure that everything was in the correct place so customers could find what they needed.
