• Create real-time MI dashboards in Microsoft Power BI, combining data from multiple sources into accessible, intuitive, and insightful reports. • Build complex data models to eliminate data silos and organise data logically to ensure maximum efficiency. • Stakeholder management (including the CEO and the Board) to identify areas where increased access to data can enable better decision making and visibility into business performance. Communicating with both technical and non-technical team members. • Leading entire lifecycle of business insight projects from understanding requirements, to implementation, testing and stakeholder feedback. • Produce due-diligence analysis for business acquisitions.• Project management of acquisition integrations.• Process mapping and documentation to enhance efficiency.• Create and maintain T-SQL scripts to refresh data in Azure Synapse Analytics. • Gain deep understanding of our existing data systems, their features and limitations, and the opportunities they provide for data integration and insight. • Creating and managing the team’s strategy in line with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:• Liaise with clients of a senior management level to understand and define requirements.• Project lead on developing and delivering a suite of reports and dashboards in Power BI that provide a self-service MI facility to underwriting teams on a global scale.• Analyse market orientated information from various external sources and incorporating internal data to deliver market share analysis.• Completing premium and loss ratio analysis from complex datasets to create an at-a-glance view of company performance. • Support business development work such as pre-sales, bid preparation and client presentations. • Assisting data migration projects using SQL stored procedures to ETL data.• Power BI training to clients (from connecting to a data source to writing complex DAX queries).

Key Responsibilities:• Liaising with senior management to develop insightful reports using advanced SQL queries, SSRS, Power BI and Excel. • Developing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for our re-insurers and adapting a flexible approach to updated requirements.• Conducting market and trend analysis in order to identify areas of improvement within the business.• Communicate with and assist various teams throughout the business to advise how processes can be improved and provide training in order to achieve optimum staff efficiency and data integrity.
