Working with students in Years 7 – 12, in the subject areas of Technology (Mandatory), Stage 5 and 6 Food Technology, Stage 6 Information Processes Technology and Stage 6 Design and Technology.

This position involves monitoring the well being and academic care of 150 students in Years 7 – 12 and management of a house team of 8 staff. This position involves working with the Dean of Pastoral Care, providing leadership to colleagues, especially in the House teams, to ensure sound day-to-day management of students in house/year and the wider school environment, dealing with students individually and as a group, developing partnership and liaisons with parents/guardians.

This position involved leading a department in the creation and implementation of the Technological and Applied Studies curriculum. This position involved the day to day running of the TAS department, duties include: creating budgets, timetabling, purchasing resources, implementing professional development opportunities within the faculty, supporting staff with discipline and pedagogy strategies.

This position involved educating students from Years 7 – 12, in the subject areas including Technology (Mandatory), Stage 5 Information and Software Technology, Stage 5 and 6 Design and Technology, Stage 5 Textile Technology, Stage 5 Industrial Timber Technology.

This position involved undertaking all pastoral care needs for 167 students in Years 7 – 12 and management of a house team of 15 – 20 staff. This position involves working with the Pastoral Care Coordinator, providing leadership to colleagues, especially in the House teams, to ensure sound day-to-day management of students in house/year and the wider school environment, dealing with students individually and as a group, developing partnership and liaisons with parents/guardians.

This position involved working collaboratively with the TAS coordinator in the day to day running of the TAS department. Tasks undertaken include: working with staff to develop quality teaching and learning strategies, preparation and the management of the TAS budget and resources, supporting staff with discipline issues, strategic planning, developing self evaluation and continual professional development of staff and promoting extra curricular involvement within the faculty.
