I work with the EL and intervention counselor and the ELD team. This position is multifaceted, and I have grown to love the culture of the school, staff and students. I meet with students and offer them academic and language support, as well as play a key role in providing English Learner services by coordinating the CELDT exams, assisting with the reclassification process for students. I provide interventions and resources for struggling students.

Manage SES tutoring program for Northern California. SES- Supplemental Education Services is a federally funded program through No Child Left Behind Act that provides free tutoring for students eligible attending schools in program improvement. As program manager, I hire tutors, work with districts, assign tutors to students and complete pre and post assessments, and consult with families, complete billing for district invoices.

Manage and track IEP's Special Ed services and compliance for Northern California Charter Schools. Work in database systems for data entry and management. Communicate with charter school and special education directors on case management and assignments. Work with federal Supplemental Education Services program by assigning tutors, conducting assessments and providing support to tutors and correspondence with local school districts. Perform bi monthly payroll duties and support for over 100 employees.
