I am a dynamic reflective and enthusiastic teacher who is extremely passionate about student wellbeing. I aims to promote an inclusive education, team environment and personalised learning. I strive to establish a welcoming, happy and safe classroom environment that caters for individuals and encourages students to realise their full potential and where they are able to try and fail and try again within the safe environment of the school setting.I believe that learning is a unique and individual experience for all students and our teaching must be reflective of this. I use my pedagogical practices to design and implement engaging and innovative experiences. I enjoy working with colleges that also share idea of finding student’s individual strengths through developing positive and healthy relationships as this has a considerable impact on student’s growth academically, socially and emotionally. I believe connection and trust are vital in relationships and appreciate learning from the students, parents and colleagues that I interact with.According to the DISC assessment -I balance myself between creative and practical approaches without being extreme in either dimension. Also I am individualistic and endeavour to own the roles and responsibilities under my leadership. I am able to balance the needs of of the school, team, families and students and rely on both new information and what has worked in the past when making decisions. I demonstrate extremely high attention to detail.In my Bachelor of Primary Education at Deakin University my Major was in Learning Needs allows me to implement many strategies within the classroom to support all learners. I have experience mentoring pre-service teachers.
