I tutor onfor the Lifelong learning department in Plants and their Habitats and Organic Gardening

I run my own company in outdoor instruction and guiding. This includes teaching navigation, trail running, rock climbing and guided walks. I also supervise Duke of Edinburgh groups out on their expeditions. This work is spread across the country from Peak District, North Wales, Lake District and Scotland. @wild.mountain.instruction

Project Coordinator for the Welsh Government funded Tyfu Dyfi project based in the Dyfi Biosphere. Coordinating volunteers in community food growing projects across the area.

Project partner in Horizon 2020 Project titled Genetic Resources Bridge project. I am undertaking the data collation and GIS analyses associated with bringing together the different genetic resource domains (Plant Genetic Resources, Animal Genetic Resources and Forestry Genetic Resources) across Europe and the Near East.I deliver lectures in a first year undergraduate module on Biodiversity/Ecology/Conservation as well as final year undergraduate lecture on GIS techniques in conservation. I also supervise undergraduate student projects.

Developing research into the value of crop wild relatives as ecosystem services.Supervising and teaching undergraduates how to use GIS for conservation planning.

Ph.D project fully funded by the Norwegian Ministry for Food and Agriculture, with the aim to implement a national strategy for the in situ and ex situ conservation of crop wild relatives in Norway.

Technician role at the Margot Forde Germplasm Center in New Zealand.

Six week project working on the creation of a national strategy for the conservation of crop wild relatives in Norway. Project was then extended and has now developed into a PhD project.
