I am a passionate advocate for Special Education Needs (SEN) children and young adults as well as inclusion and disability rights within Hammersmith & Fulham. I am committed to making a positive and everlasting impact on my community, as I have observed an increase in frustration and disappointment amongst fellow carers and parents. For this reason I became a Trustee for a dedicated organisation that provides inclusive support and opportunities for children and young adults with various disabilities to have a safe, fun space to attend. This charity organisation is called LEOs, Living with Equal Opportunities, formerly known as Play Association My professional journey extends beyond the non-profit sector, showcasing core competencies in project management, time management, delegation, and teamwork. As well as being a poet to channel my life experiences into my writing, using my voice to raise awareness for causes close to my heart. Through a six-month role as a sales associate at the LEGO Group, I honed my communication skills and delivered excellent customer service and product demonstrations in the retail industry.Currently I am finishing a master's equivalent degree in Event Management for Marketing and Communications at the Event Academy, I have learnt from industry professionals, gained practical insights into the field and worked on live briefs and pitches. My goal is to grasp my versatile and transferable skills to the event industry to create memorable and meaningful experiences for diverse audiences. I am eager to expand my knowledge and network, seeking opportunities that will challenge and inspire me.
