Committing to a 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract to oversee the running of the Police Citizens Youth Club as the Civilian Branch Operations Manager, I was tasked with managing multiple divisions of the organisation, including OSHC Operations, Gym and Aerobics, Squash, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, and ongoing Community Programs. Using my Leadership Skills, Time Management, Human Resources, Administration, Financial, and Networking Skills, I was able to successfully maintain the smooth running of the Business as well as improve the overall profits for the 13 Month Period that I held that role.

Building on my 5 years with Masters Home Improvement at the Springfield store, I joined the fabulous Bundamba store and loved my role as the Customer Experience Manager. With a team of approximately 80 employees, we always strived to offer the best customer service that we could and endeavour to exceed our customers expectations on a daily basis. My role saw me utilising my leadership, time management, budgeting, rostering, cash handling, administration and management skills. Utilising all my new skills obtained from my recent professional development, I enjoyed managing my team in the Big Blue Box.

With almost 5 years commitment to Masters Home Improvement Springfield, I engaged in many roles. I was a Service Supervisor and Community Engagement Officer, with other skills shown in all aspects of the business such as customer service, cash handling, merchandising, safety, administration, and leadership. In my last year at Masters Springfield, I was enlisted as part of the succession planning for the Management team, and spent my time as a Trainee Safety and Compliance Manager as well as a Trainee Customer Experience Manager. Which ultimately led to my next role within Masters Home Improvement at the Bundamba store as the Customer Experience Manager.

After seeing a gap in the market for ladies fashion, I used my customer service, retail, business and marketing skills to start a business from scratch. Being personally involved in all aspects of the business allowed me to ensure that all my customers needs were met with high satisfaction. Focusing on online retail and utilising a party plan model, I was able to drive the business from conception to successful execution. I was able to learn many new skills throughout my time managing this business including import and export, wholesale, retail, and ecommerce.

Working in a 'Big Box' environment as a Community Involvement Liaison, I utilised my many leadership, networking, administration, time management and customer service skills to provide a valuable service to our customers, both internal and external to the business. As an active member of the community, I was always engaged with my business, fellow businesses, local community groups, and local and state government officials in an ethical and supportive action.

Starting out as a Promotions Associate, and progressing to Telemarketing, Photographer, Sales, and ultimately Manager, I enjoyed my 6 years employment with Pixi Foto and Portrait Place. Seeing out the entire process from lead generation, setting appointments, photography session, to sales was a rewarding experience, allowing us to enthusiastically engage with the customer throughout the entire journey, and invite them back to celebrate their next milestone or special occasion with us. In my final year with Pixi Foto I was enlisted to conduct training sessions for all the QLD Managers in successful promotions and marketing.
