The Forest Of Dean

At Harrier Financial Services, I acted as the main Financial Adviser for all clients based in Gloucestershire and The Wye Valley. I worked with existing clients (individuals and employers) to reconfirm their financial goals and objectives and review whether their current policies and investments were still on track and suitable.I also took on many new clients to discuss their needs and create financial plans for them to achieve their long term goals. My advice covered investments, pensions, mortgages, long term care and protection needs.

Cheltenham

During this role, I continued to act as a Client Account Manager for Employer's pension arrangements, being their first point of contact, signing off and presenting annual governance reports for clients and providing workplace presentations regarding the employee benefits available to staff and giving regulatory and legislative updates. I continued the management of the entire Client Support team and developed internal initiatives such as Mentoring between Support staff and Financial Advisers. I also acted as dedicated Project Manager for some of our larger clients who required a higher degree of management due to taking on many of our services such as: ongoing pension reviews, group risk renewals, wellbeing surveys, staff presentations, employee 1:1s and employee benefit platform integration.

From Client Support, I progressed to Team Leader for the Client Support team in Cheltenham. As this role progressed, my managerial scope widen to leading the Support teams within the Liverpool, Bromsgrove and Amersham offices too. During my time as Client Support Manager, I was still undertaking my client facing duties and managing a portfolio of Pension and Group Risk clients. Regularly giving presentations to pension members regarding the employee benefits available to them and acting as first port of call for Employer queries. My role also involved arranging and presenting going training for all Support staff, coordinating workloads between the Support staff and Financial Advisers, carrying out bi-annual personal development reviews for all Support staff and reporting directly to the management board on MI and staff updates.

I started off at Barnett Waddingham as Client Support for Employers who already had or needed new auto enrolment and group risk schemes.This role consisted of working with the Employer's HR representative (typically payroll & benefit coordinators) to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of new pension and group risk schemes. I would provide ongoing services such as quarterly newsletters or annual booklets to the members of the scheme should the Employer wish for these services to be provided.

Cheltenham

During my time at Vauxhall, I worked with the sales team to help bring in new business and match potential new clients to the right type of vehicle for them.I managed the live chat facility on the website to help new and existing clients with all queries, from booking them in for appointments to troubleshooting and complaint handling.I also worked on the website and coordinated mail merges, ensuring new promotions were advertised and communicated to interested parties.
