MemberGirls Who Code Jul 2014 - Aug 2014New York, New York, Usworked as a team of 5 on a final project that used Google's API to access the user's location and located the nearest hospitals, police stations and fire stations. This project allowed user's to be aware of their surroundings in case they felt unsafe as they walked down the street. There was a non-emergency section that allowed our user step by step instructions to cure a minor cut or bruise. Also step by step instructions on what to do while waiting on an ambulance depending on their needs. Our prototype allowed users to have accessibility to this information all in one area to decrease the number of sites they had to navigate through to find what they need.
