Co-Founder & Warrior Princess Of Tech
CurrentSilicon Prairie is a Fintech startup operating since 2016. We started with Regulation Investment Crowdfunding Portals, then added a SEC Transfer Agent, and in 2020 we purchased a FINRA/SEC Broker Dealer. In Spring 2023 we obtained clearance for an Alternative Trading System ("ATS") within our Broker Dealer. It takes about 2-3 years to get through the ATS application process. We can basically run an OTC market now.We are Blockchain experts; Our Founder David Duccini got into Bitcoin in 2010. He is one of the few people that you can meet who has actually written a whole coin (POS/POW hybrid) back in 2015, but it was never sold as an ICO. He has about a dozen patents out of Wells Fargo for Blockchain in Banking. He also teaches a graduate level computer science Blockchain course at the local private university St. Thomas. He handed over the Blockchain class to me Jan 2023, and going forward he will be teaching their Smart Contract course starting Fall 2023.I'm the right-hand here at Silicon Prairie, so David and I double-team a lot of stuff. But we are primarily a technical team running a software company that creates and services all our regulated financial institutions, about 25 team members as of 2023. We do license our platform and individual software tools. We are religious about regulatory compliance; US Dollars, real lawyers, real banks, real insurance, etc.We wrote a document automation stack to create smart documents (that can feed into smart contracts), we call it Geppetto. It's been used to create the PPM Offering Documents since about 2017. It’s a good tool for lawyers. We also built Crowdbuilder. Our Investment crowdfunding customers always ask us to find them investors, but the laws only allow that in our Investment Bank, so we created software so our issuer clients do a DIY project to identify and contact their best potential investors. We'll work with any lawful US business, no gatekeeping here.
