Giving tours to perspective students and parents around the University grounds was a good way to get to know the future students of Dundee. I love helping and assisting people being an ambassador I was able to do just that. My role included assisting people around campus through tours and directing people to the right location, as well as helping at the stalls signing people in and giving welcome packs.

During my time as president, I made sure that all people were welcome to the society. My committee and I organised events to ensure all members and new comers are welcomed. Making sure our committee met up twice a month for meetings, ensured we were always up to date and informed about new events and opportunities. This included doing bi-weekly checks on the financial account and organising fundraising events to add funding to our society.It was important for me to collaborate with other societies within and out-with Dundee University, to make sure that my members were able to meet new people and explore new cities in Scotland.

Working within a small team, I was able to learn a variety of skills amongst my time at Tonic. This included being adaptable to quick changes to the rota, covering for a team member when expected circumstances arise and being able to be quick and on the ball when things got busy.I have a wide extent of experience with handling people in different scenarios, as we were open from breakfast to 12am on weekends.Having a variety of responsibilities throughout shifts, it meant that I always had to be aware.

Using my graphical background, I designed the Winter Fall 2020 fabric collection books, presented research and pitched at meetings to clients andmanagers. Helping organise the next seasons catalog clothes through excel sheets and internal systems, I also sat in weekly meetings and attended exclusive fashion based events on behave of the company

Working with the Graphic’s team to produce Social media content and posters for weekly in house events. I assisted the lead designers for the graphics team and project manager tolearn more about customer based designs and how to pitch to clients. I was lucky enough to also attend the back scenes of a film production for an internal project.
