Officiate 10U Girls Basketball league for the City of St Paul parks & Recreation

Nurturing and expanding a more diverse pool of local technology talent in the Twin Cities community and creating expanded pathways to employment and career success at many of our MnTech member companies. Specifically, driving the work of the Tech Inclusion Alliance, a new CIO-led consortium committed to enriching corporate technology teams with diverse talent and creating more inclusive environments where BIPOC talent can thrive.

Responsible for developing and executing programming and events of value to MnTech members and the broader technology community. Cultivated and facilitated a vibrant and active member community by establishing trusted relationships with leaders at member companies and working to ensure they have a positive membership experience. This includes planning and delivering large-scale events such as the annual Tekne Awards as well as smaller gatherings such as peer forums and communities-of-interest events, all implemented in a manner that provides opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, learn and grow.

Responsible for partner stewardship and partner recognition for our 56 corporate partners. Works collaboratively with Director of Corporate Partnerships to secure 348 internship positions for young professionals. Manage the process for collecting and vetting job descriptions, placing students, training supervisors, reviewing onboarding requirements (billing, and contracts, etc.). Lead our Corporate Partner Advisor Team, comprised of IT leaders and our key stakeholders (supervisors and company sponsors). Manage our newest initiative, the making internships meaningful series, to recognize young professionals and supervisors and highlight meaningful internship best practices.

Responsible for the corporate workplace segment of our program, ensuring a meaningful internship experience for all 296 young professionals and 56 corporate partners. This includes training program coordinators and interns' supervisors, creating recognition, engagement, and gratitude opportunities for 200+ supervisors in the network, and serving as the primary account manager for 28 of our corporate partners. Established a new framework/language and culture for working with our corporate partners, a philosophy that will improve program outcomes for partners, interns, and our staff. Managed the internship placement process, successfully placing all 296 young professionals into their internships by balancing geography, position types, student competency and interests, etc. Established the first ever supervisor forum, a mini conference experience for supervisors to network and connect with each other and share best practices.

I was accountable for managing the relationship with our largest corporate partner, Medtronic. This included ensuring a successful year long internship experience for a cohort of 23 high school interns, 20 supervisors., and sponsor and executive sponsors of the program at Medtronic. This includes being a founding member of the Genesys Works leadership team at Medtronic. As the Genesys Works account coordinator, I partnered with IT leaders to create tailored site tours, professional development opportunities, team building activities, mentor-mentee programming, and supervisor and intern connection opportunities for Genesys Works interns at Medtronic. Coached students to build college and career plans; 100% of cohort was accepted into college and had post secondary plans by the end of the internship year.

Responsible for sustaining strong relationships with partner institutions through campus visits and partner stewardship. Led prospective student outreach and advising, establishing a virtual advising initiative to advise students about culture, diversity, course work, etc. Managed the interview process for over 500 applicants each year, implemented a leaner process that cut staff time down by over 30%

• Evaluated Grinnell College’s website and executed a content analysis regarding marketability to prospective students. Provided suggestions for marketing that authentically attracts the right students. • Proposed diverse qualitative research ideas, including a focus group, to capture the true essence of a Grinnell College student via the website content, photos, and interactions.

A Generation Alone?: Future Relationship and Family Formation Expectations of College Students• Created an online survey and achieved 40%+ responses from the student body

• Served as a “Face of Grinnell” and concierge for speakers and visitors entering the popular campus building.• Provided computer and audiovisual technical support for faculty, staff, and guests for 40+ events. • Delivered needed information for 1,660 students and 185 staff members regarding campus policies and procedures, academic challenges, faculty, schedules, events, and other campus-related information.
