Conservatory trained cellist turned business school student.Growing up my favorite part of the week was when my father would take me to pre-college conservatory classes on the weekend where I would study ear training, chamber music, music theory, and private lessons. My private teacher growing up told me that playing the cello would take me all over the world - he was right! My studies have taken me all over the world and I have played in various concert halls in Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, including “the” Carnegie Hall. And to answer the classic question: How exactly did I get to Carnegie Hall? Practicing.The most useful skill I learned from playing in symphony orchestras was being able to analyze and dissect how my individual part fits within the entire symphony orchestra as a whole. The most rewarding part of being a musician is being able to meet with students who have a thirst for learning and being able to give them the tools to connect the mind, body, and soul, through the power of music.While I love living the musician life, the desire and curiosity to understand more about the world we live in and how it functions has prompted me to go back to school to pursue an MBA. I'm excited to be able to combine the skills I've learned as a classical musician and apply them to many other facets. My hope is to one day work alongside people who also have the same passion of uniting people through the power of music.I enjoy meeting people and hearing new insights!
