In addition to overseeing day to day operations and assisting our Executive Director, responsibilities relate mostly to the support/management of our ongoing core programs which include but are not limited to: program/project management; in-house graphic designer; web design/maintenance; managing earned media; and social media/marketing.Producer: Open Doors Citywide Arts Festival A multi-venue 10 day citywide festival comprised of a gallery crawl, artist studio tour, city murals tour, public art and performance, poetry and music events and more. Managed marketing, design, and all other aspects of the Festival which contains over 35 presenting spaces, showcases 300+ regional and international artists, and attracts upwards of 8,000 visitors from throughout the Greater Newark Metro Area. Administrator: ArtStart Grants Program An annual grants program (grants range from $500-$3,000) that provides funding to individual artists and organizations looking to offer programs in Newark's neighborhoods and communities, particularly where access to the arts is limited or non-existent. Ran numerous information sessions each grant year and oversaw the entire grant cycle from promotion through the application, review, and awards process. Worked with 10-12 grantees throughout the year and helps to promote their projects as well as provide assistance throughout the implementation process.Special Events Assistant: Fundraising Committee (2010 to present)A subcommittee of NAC's Board of Directors responsible for the planning and implementation of all fundraising and donor cultivation events and initiatives. Since 2010, participated as an active member of the committee and provided graphic design/art direction for all printed materials, web design, and other creative elements. She has helped to raise over $450,000 through galas, online fundraising campaigns, silent and online auctions, and other cultivation events.
